Fairly sure it's the standard modern dark blue replacement dial.
With a non-AR coated mineral crystal especially (the most recent ones are sapphire with AR coating on inside) these can appear quite black in some lighting.
The whole watch looks to be a put-together of modern replacement parts so I doubt the dial is actually black/fake.
Looks dark blue to me.

Yes, the seller does appear to be legit, he's been around a while, but in his description he says the watch has been to Omega recently. Its clearly a service dial, luminova rather than tritium, but why a black one? If it were a fake, they would have replaced it with a blue one surely?
And if its fake, then its a damn good one, I have never seen one that good before.

It's a standard SL dark blue replacement dial. It looks all legit to me.
I agree, but while he describes it as being black in the ebay listing he will be putting many off.....

Just had a reply to my PM from the seller, which suggests that the watch is a full restoration by Omega, not a new build from service parts, and also seems to suggest that the dial, fitted by Omega is indeed black!
Well, in that case something is not right, either he has got the colour wrong, or he has paperwork for another watch, or Omega has made a black dial when no vintage PloPlof ever had one....

A replacement dial is a service part, not a restoration.
And it sure looks like hands, button and bezel are brand spanking new replacement parts as well (all SL and no tritium).
Like Jase I remain unconvinced that the dial is black IRL.
yep looks like the one i had, that dial is clearly dark blue.
so this 1970's Omega is a bit like trigger's brush.
Probably more true than you think, I would guess that the only thing left from the 1970's is the serial number. ;-)
Clearly everything visable is new, and if the case was so badly damaged it had to be replaced, then I guess that large parts of the movement were probably replaced too due to water ingress etc.
But hey, Triggers broom is still triggers broom. ;-)
Thanks to Jase for pointing me at this thread, and yes there are no black dials in these watches. I reckon its blue and hes a bit colour insensitive to blue/black or just looking at the photos, which do look black, but im sure is just lighting.
Simply compare the color of the dial to the color of the black bezel and one can clearly see that it's dark blue. This is a helpful hint for any and all Ploprof photos, not just this particular one.

It is indeed blue. A darker shade of blue but blue nonetheless.
