omega movement info please

rcently i bought an old watch, well i am a vintage nut, the dial says omega, the case size is roughly 30mm, the crown is blank, as is the caseback, the movement number reads 10097550, google leads me to places where my meds sozzled brain cannot comprehend, all advice is greatly appreciated.

That's the movement serial number, which will date to around 1944.

thank you foggy, i forgot to mention that the strap is strong, long and thick enough to be a collor for a jack russell.
