And she was quite attractive, nothing amazing, but after talking half an hour with her about Omegas, Breitlings, Montblancs and IWCs she became sooo much more attractive and by the end I got completely lost in her green eyes, Im pretty certain they werent even that green when I first sat down, and, ridiculously in an AD, I had to be extra careful when I stood up to leave. It really made me think how great it would be, and actually possible, to have a partner who loved watches as much as we do... and was hot.

I think it's what's called a 'differentiator' or something like that. He may have said what you suggested if this was a Nigerian or Chinese based forum, for example. Just the same as people say 'I wad talking to this lovely looking red headed woman', it's human nature to descibe spmeone by their most striking feature. If you were down the boozer and there was a green woman with red hair, you'd unlikely descibe her as 'that lass with the red hair'.
