Bump, can anyone help ?
I posted this in the GMT thread yesterday, but no response so far.
All useful comments welcome :)
I picked this piece up in Feb 2012, and have enjoyed wearing it in rotation since then.
There is some damage to the edge of the bezel insert between 22-02 and 08-10, so I am minded to replace it.
I have searched online for a coke insert with the gold lettering, without success.
So, I have four questions :
1, Does anyone know of a quality coke on gold insert for GMT ?
2, Would a bronze (rootbeer) bezel work with the two tone finish and black face ?
3, If not, can you recommend a UK supplier of a quality black/gold insert, as a direct replacement ?
4, Is this a large, or small font bezel - how do I tell the difference ?
Thanks

been looking for aftermarket inserts for a friend and to no avail(perhaps i'm not actively looking for one either ). he has an all black but wants either a coke or pepsi... anyways, will try to chime in (but please know i am not an expert! )
i think it would be best to get the same color as what you have now (ie. the rootbeer bezel might not look good) -- but perhaps google could also help (there must be someone who has tried it already).
my (less than) 2cents...
There shou7ld be some on ebay!! Mostly from the states but plenty to choose from!
Hi, have you emailed duncan at genesis watchmakers. He is an accredited rolex repairer and can provide bezel inserts for about £40.00. Regards. Kev
