Solid gold watch on a strap?

If you had Ģ4-5k to spend on a solid gold watch on a strap, pre owned, what would you go for?

Not something ill buy today or tmrw but i will buy one at some stage.

I like the idea of a date just on a black croc or lizard, but 36mm is a little small on me

Have to be the 1969 reissue El Primero for me. Seem to remember someone on here picked on up. Easily in your budget brand new... Ebay one below as an example (and not the cheapest available I've seen)

Saw a few Zenith ultra thin watches in rose gold on sell at around that price. Great watches if you have a moderate size wrist (40mm).

This costed me Ģ5k and I donīt need a single strap :) And fact is that this 36mm case with this integrated bracelet wears like a 38-40mm normal one...

A white gold Lange 1 would do me. No chance of that ever happening for Ģ5K though :-)

I had a look at one of these the other day. Very nice - simple, classy, great movement. I like the Art Deco feel to it.

RRP is about Ģ8k so used will be well inside the OP's budget. Finding one might be tricky though.

IWC Mk XII on a black sharkskin or if that comes in under budget ( I suspect it might not these days ) how about an Ingenieur, one of the early jumbos if you can find one on a black crock strap. Might overshoot the budget a bit though.
