yeah - got to question the authenticity of the watch when you see things like that - how/why would you tear it off and not retain the missing corner?
I wonder if the dog ate it
Rolex 1675 with papers but the paper gtee is missing the numbers it's been ripped off
Just leaving the 5
Ripped as its not the original to the watch
As it is the paper work would seem useless

I suppose it's not entirely dishonest; that paper certainly has been "worked".Originally Posted by golfg60

So not ideal.
I see we have a graphologist on the forum.

More importantly the dial is wrong for a 5mil........cracking dial but a much earlier MK1 dial from late 60's to early 70's. Makes you wonder why the dial was replaced at some point. Mind you...he'd know since he's owned it from new! :D
What a joke. A poor one that is...
he is guaranteeing no import tax so that's defo a point in its favour
Thought It worth an email to the new listing Ebayer. Response as follows
Hi Tony,
Yes, my friend who is the expert on Rolexes, was going to sell it for me, but we decided that it was best to split it up so that it was more affordable, and do it myself with advice. However, I will be offering the winning bidder the original bracelet and the original boxes. I have huge interest in it on watch only, and also from two collectors privately for all pieces. Regards, and best wishes whatever you decide, Paul.
So looks like its too late folks it has HUGE interest. Oh well win some lose some
Once I needed some work documents signed off in a desperate hurry.Originally Posted by jrpippen

Somehow we managed to get the report signed-off by the gaffer and out on time.
It was around then that I noticed left handed writing would normally slope the other way.
What a clown
5ms stopped mid 1978
A 1981 would be a 16750
Complete muppet seller
Yours not here :lol:Originally Posted by itsgotournameonit

Q:* Hi, how long have you owned the watch? 08-Jul-12
A:* Hi?, Quite a few years, but think it might not be for much longer, as will most likely be sold shortly. Not really sure how long I have owned it has a bearing. Paul.
Q:* Hi mate I'm interested as to why there is no bracelet with the watch? Can you confirm the watch is complete minus the bracelet and that it is in full working order? Thanks in advance Chris 08-Jul-12
A:* Hi Chris, I do have the original bracelet with this watch, and will be listing it later today separately from the watch. I had to take it off to photograph the numbers. I will be offering it to the winning bidder of the watch if they are interested first, but will just let it run if not wanted for some strange reason. I confirm this auction here is for the watch and papers only, and that it is in full working order. It really is an extremely fine example of a GMT 1675. Best wishes, as I have huge interest already, Paul.
Q:* hi,what the shipping cost to malaysia and I'm paying with paypal thanks. 08-Jul-12
A:* hi, the shipping cost by airmail to malaysia by insured airmail would be GBPounds 49. I can accept Paypal, but they force me to declare the full value for customs, and then there might be import charges. if you pay by bank transfer, I can make sure there are no import costs for you. i do not mind which method of payment you use. best wishes, Paul.
He sounds a right bleep.
No bracelet, it's being sold separately  and he will graciously accept paypal due to demand but only if you ask first.
How much to buy the whole complete watch Also was this on eBay the other week? Cheers Jason 09-Jul-12
A:* Hi Jason, I have huge interest in just the watch head only, and indeed it seems to be going up high already. There are a few collectors who want the complete lot as well. If you wanted a private buy it now, then it could be £3,900 for the complete set. So long as I have no costs. Eg. You come and collect the watch set. An experienced friend of mine has seen a similar example as mine with a rather poor dial sold for £4,850, so I will not be bartering. My friend had indeed offered the complete set before on my behalf as he is the expert, but we decided that splitting would make it more affordable for people. My home phone number also is tel.01362 683394. Best wishes, Paul.
