Look for eBay seller Raffles-time. Ken can supply most of what you want as a package - case/dial/hands/movement etc etc.
I think a few people on here have built their own from stock cases and sterile dials etc
Who are you using for obtaining cases and movements?
I am beginning to wonder if I might try this out, using say a milsub case like this - 160778023509
What about water resistance, if you've built a sterile sub, say, have you had it tested, and to what tolerance?
cheers

Cheers, is Ken one of the better options?Originally Posted by simes
Could it be assumed to turn out water resistant still? The other option is perhaps buying in the components, then having them professionally assembled.
I have some big 45mm cases, dials hands ect that I could put a kit together for you of you want something different than a sub. Needs a 28xx movement that I could find as well if you want. (oh an these are Swiss cases that I collected while in grenchen early this year)
I wish I'd known that before!
My bits are en-route from Singapore at the moment - although I'm using my own movement - ETA 2824-2.
+1 for Ken's stuff, he doesn't say a lot but he answers emails quickly and posts stuff rapidly with the most amazing stamps on them!
If you like that sort of thing.... :D
Not sure about waterproofness but I'm really pleased with my build.
