The problem with street photography is you are often left wanting to know more.

    Street Photography from TZ members?

A rainy night in Bad Homburg (tonight)...

    Straight from the camera (ISO3200, f2, 1/100)
Not much more I could do with it.

That last one does indeed sum up a lot of modern art. Too close? Too far away? Who knows?

    Just one from me:

Love this shot, the sort of picture I can linger over for ages, looking at all the little details within the composition and wondering where it is, who it is, what's the guy looking at, what's on the drinks menu etc. ........

Thanks Z. I didn't take any shots of the birds. I had my walkabout rig with me, I like to shoot his birds with my 7D with a 70-200 2.8 attached. I usually have a chat with the chap who displays the birds, he lost all of his bird pictures from his hard drive last year, so I did a fair few and let him have them, he seemed quite pleased with them! He was very busy with the Christmas crush so I didn't like to bother him, or indeed squeeze amongst his onlookers. Here's a few of his birds.....

Thanks Nigel. I'm using Silver Efex Pro2 for mono, I choose whichever of the presets looks about right for the image, then apply one of the film types and fine tune from there if need be. Nothing that can't be done in Lightroom really, just speeds up the workflow a fair bit. I've been working on some shots from the summer that I kept back to fill some time in these dreary winter evenings, oh for some light and warmth!

Thanks for your comments! I'm a M4/3 guy so wasn't sure if I'd be able to mix it up with you DSLR shooters.

I was disappointed with the detail having resized it for the forum, here a link to a slightly larger version:

    Regards and keep them coming.

It was a good day out for me, great to meet up and helped me find my mojo! Having viewed your recent Brum ones on Flickr Maris, I think you have decided on a new subject for your project, some cracking shots. I am in the Alps at the mo so it would be good to meet up when I return.

Looking at these photos, I'm not too sure what Street Photography is, as the ones in this thread seems to be mostly people.... Great images by the way.

Here are a few contributions from me:
