    Street Photography from TZ members?

There have been a few Street Photography threads of late - one of which prompted me to have a go.
I'm still carrying the camera with me on my travels -
This one from a bar in Copenhagen a few weeks ago

This couple from a bar in Clonmel, Ireland earlier this week - Maybe this should be a bar photography thread ?

As always - taken on Leica D-Lux 4, ISO 400, manual focus, aperture & shutter speed

Would be interested in other TZ members pics & tips.
Though I probably won't be using the Bruce Gilden flash in the face technique - as posted here

I like those shots. At first I thought they were a little dark, but after some consideration I think they work well, especially the last one. I had a spell where I was shooting local buskers for a while, here's a couple.

I don't do much in the way of street photography, but here's one. (Actually, I was taking a picture of something else, and he insisted that I take his picture.)

    Zeiss Ikonta 6x9cm folder.

    Best wishes,

That last one and the one of the kid swimming hit the spot for me Ralphy.

I just posted a load of images taken in Sherborne this last week over in another thread. I think these ones from that set qualify as street.

Fan Tan Alley - Worlds narrowest street, Victoria B.C.

Mrs Bond and I went on a quick trip out to the west coast last week, and came across this place -

It is only 1.2m wide at the ends, and in the middle only 1.8m wide

Approx 1/3 of the way down is this battered door - how cool is that address??

Wandering around the city, we came across numerous different designs of junction boxes etc which we both thought was a great way to make the streets more interesting. Here are a few of my favourites -

And buildings all around the city have glorious murals on them, again here are a couple of my favourites -

I do try to take street style images, but with a high failure rate!

This one is more 'Park' than "Street'

..and a link to the others that day...

They were taken as part of a Birminghamviewpoint "parks" project.

Here is a link to some of my stuff in Birmingham...

Mooching around Berlin earlier - stumbled through (what appeared to be) a red light district (On the corner of Genthiner Straße & Kurfürstenstraße if you're interested) on my way to Stauffenbergstraße. I thought better of photographing the hookers, ;) ... but snapped this group in a doorway...

Thanks - as usual I was using my trusty Leica D-Lux-4.
    Manual settings. Manual Focus.
    ISO 3200, F2.0, and ~1/60 I think.

From what I have observed that little corner seems to be mostly "lower budget" than the other areas of Berlin with quite a few professional ladies that would probably appeal more to Wayne Rooney. I hope you stopped off for some refreshment in Cafe Einstein.

Indeed - very low rent. I wandered that way again this evening, but this time heading for checkpoint Charlie. It was swarming with them further towards Potsdamer Straße - literally had to beat them off ! Anyhow, on the return trip something was happening at the Wintergarten...

I think this image would looking even better if cropped down, there is some nice potential symmetry in there between the 2 ladies and the pole/bar thing vertically between them as well.

I need to hit the street more.
