Just be thankful you caught Keith Richards on his holidays. ;-)

I like them equally, well spotted!

Thank you, lots of opportunities around, and tasty fish and chips.
Today, after a few years absence, I went to Brum to look for subjects. I didn't go as far as approaching strangers for portraits,[ my heart and body don't cope with the adrenaline rush anymore] and only took a couple of shots to get my eye in. But it was a start, and strange to be using my camera instead of the phone.

This next one was just to practise zone focusing.

Probably by luck ... difficult exposure processed in PS and LR and back into PS again ... Does not look 'poster like' to me but my colour vision is poor.

Has the HDR effect to it, a few filters in PS will achieve similar but a great shot

Hehe, I see. By "poster" I mean that is has both a kind of flatness (not meant in a negative way) and richness of colour that is reminiscent, to my mind, of an intentional poster/advertising effect. It's difficult to describe. It is visually very pleasing to look at.

Bloody good pic, no matter what.

Following the compliments, this evening this 'long' version of 'Umbrella Man - Piccadilly' was submitted and accepted as a 2020 magazine cover photo ... will be used with magazine title and tasters at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for the encouraging words.

^^^ Thank you for the compliments. Plan to use the image in two separate camera club competitions and will be interesting to hear what the judges think of it ... they can be very critical.
