Lovely looking watch. I haven't seen that colour combination before. Very nice.
Ordered on Sunday and arrived today, delivered from Hong Kong. Excellent service!
Here we go ...
Any ideas?
So, here she is still her in plastic:
And without:
And from the sides:
First impressions are really good. Great size and weight (not titanium) and fantastic lume. I've been looking for one of these used for ages and when the opportunity came round to buy one new from a new batch it was too hard to resist :D . Anyway, I appreciate they are not everyone's cup of tea but I love it! Finally, great dealing with Peter from Helson. First class service, a free strap and delivery in under five days. Brilliant.
Lovely looking watch. I haven't seen that colour combination before. Very nice.
very nice watch , great colours .
What colour does the lume come out on that?
It's just a matter of time...
I'd say the colour combo is a bit Marmite, but the watch is really nice.
Very nice. Like these, but theyre difficult to see in the flesh.
What case size is that, and how does it wear compared with the Sub?
Chunky.
Congrats.
Like above, I realize that the colour combo might not be for all. I happen to like it. A nice departure.

Chunky is definitely the word! It is the 45mm version and I suspect the lume will keep me awake tonight :). For me, my 2009 sub is the perfect watch and I don't think it will be in the box for long. This, on the other hand, is completely different from all the other watches I own and I am enjoying it for that reason. Also, although it is big it wears very comfortably. I took a link out from both side it feels perfect. Once on, the weight seems to disappear quickly.
Yes, I agree with you. But I have no intention of selling it (do we all say that?)!Originally Posted by Bonesey
Cant say I know of Helson, but Man City fans will love that watch too.
I like that a lot, very nice indeed. Enjoy.
Love that!
What's the RRP for that exact model?

It was $699 inc postage and I got a rubber strap included. That was a nice gesture given that I was quite happy to pay for it.
Good point! I'll use it to wind up all those pseudo United fans around here in south Cheshire!Originally Posted by s67

Nice watch. Always been a big fan of Helson watches.
:D Colour scheme is very cool, not really a fan otherwise, these are too chunky for me but if it was 42 mm it would be great.
Looks great to me... even with the unusual colour combo, enjoy...

I like that alot ,I do like the colour scheme though it would not be my personal first choice.
With the very square looking edges is it comfortable to wear ?
Very comfortable. I must admit that I've been pleasantly surprised. I will find out tomorrow whether it fits well under a shirt cuff!Originally Posted by herusix
Nice colour scheme nothing wrong with something a little different.
Might ask James to do the lume on the DSSD that colour
Nice one, original
Well done on a lovely piece :D
Nice watch,I personally wouldn't have gone for that colour but nice never the less.
Very nice! Really like Helson watches - their customer service is great too.
Nice indeed.
Very 8)
Cheers judeep. I think it was you who started me off on this Helson hunt!Originally Posted by judeep

Seems like they are sold out already!Originally Posted by mani
Wow I love the colours :)
Thanks! And yes, it seems like this colour and one other have sold out. I can't believe how comfortable the watch given its size. It really does fit beautifully.
Is this a 45mm or a 42mm?
If its a 45 could you post a wrist shot please? How big are your wrists, cos you have set me off wanting one now.(Black dial, orange lume I think)
Just unsure about the size,I do wear a Pam 312 with no problems though.
Cheers in advance.
Edit, sorry just reread the thread and realise you have said its a 45mm,I have a sub as well so if you still think it is wearable in comparison maybe I will be ok with it.
Unusual colour combination. Its always great unpacking a new arrival.
Congrats!
Yes, will certainly post a few wrist shots tomorrow. Just enjoying a Greek come back!Originally Posted by chaplad
Still wearing my new arrival and took the opportunity this morning to take a few wrist shots for those of you wondering about the size issue. My wrist is approximately 7.5 inches and it seems to fit well for me. As you'll see from the below, it even fits well below my shirt cuff.
Thanks for that,it looks good,I may order one this week I think.
How long did you have to wait from ordering?
Ordered Sunday morning and with me by midday on Thursday. I thought that was excellent service.
.
Very clinical. Love it!!! :glasses7:

It was indeed! Glad you opted for the big boy 45mm and I have to say I like the colour scheme :)
