    On hols in Canada. Just watched it on TV live. Totally agree with your comments -amazing . Apparently he wants to do the grand canyon next.

    Back in the 1850's a chap called Blondin did this many times, carrying a chair, cooking an egg and with a bloke on his back.

    This is tame by comparison with those crazy Victorians :shock:

    If my fading knowlege of American history serves, these were separate crossings.

    He did the feat many times, each more daring than the previous !

    Health and safety has a lot to answer for.
