I saw Nightcrawler at the weekend on Netflix. It's one of the best films I've seen in a long time. Highly recommended!
Love Meet Joe Black, one of my top 10 movies. The ending is very thought provoking from a parental perspective and very nicely done.

I watched The Extraction on Netflix - brilliant fighting scenes, that of John Wick and The Bourne Series. The storyline was a bit predictable, overall a decent film.
I watched Extraction at the weekend. As said, predictable but good enough nonetheless. One of the fight scenes was pretty much a one-take jobbie that lasted 12 mins. They trained and practiced for 4 months to do it. The actors said that when they appear haggard on the screen they were genuinely feeling that way.
Alita- Battle Angel
Absolutely stunning movie. Just everything about it.
I have just finished watching the Quincy Jones doco on Netflix. A very interesting and laid back hour or so watching a tale of a remarkable man 👍👍
I watched Hunt for the Wilderpeople this afternoon. All the reviews on here suggested it would be good and it didn't disappoint at all.
I watched ‘the last full measure’ last night - I thought it was pretty good
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People
One I recorded off terrestrial a few weeks ago that I missed first time round (circa. 2008). No Oscar winner but good fun with Simon Pegg doing his usual 'British nerd out of comfort zone'
Uncut Gems on Netflix was very good. Adam Sandler did a great job.
Just watched Coherence, trippy low-budget thriller with an intriguing premise, though not a film to watch if your attention is divided with something else
Hidden Figures on Film 4 was good.

I Can Only Imagine on Sky/Now Tv.

“Yesterday” on NowTV.
Really good and funny, a Richard Curtis / Danny Boyle film. It’s about a musician who wakes up after a accident and he’s the only one who knows who the Beatles were.
It’s an oldy, but I rewatched Southern Comfort again after finding it on amazon prime video. Cracking film.
We recently watched 'Jayne Mansfield's Car' on Prime. Absolutely loved it.

Bored Friday night on Netflix found Jackie Chan, The Foreigner, thought give it it 30 min.
Actually enjoyed it, good plot & cast.
We watched 'The Rise Of Skywalker' the other night, fantastic! Going to watch it again this week.

Watched “Extraction” on Netflix last night, fast paced, well shot action movie.
The 15:17 to Paris on Amazon Prime I really enjoyed it.
It might have been mentioned before but I missed thisnone...I can highly recommend “Last Breath” on netflix. Gripping story...a must watch.
Oh, there’s also some good watch spotting to be had in it!

What +1 and +2 said .. Great film Sent from my SM-N976B using TZ-UK mobile app
Saw The Lighthouse last night, a black comedy about sheltering in place. Reminiscent of Eraserhead. Willem Dafoe is fantastic, as always!
May have been mentioned on the thread already, but re-watched Hacksaw Ridge last night - best film I've seen in years.
I watched the The American last night. I've seen it before. It probably looks better than it actually is, but I enjoyed it.
El Reino: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7095482/
Just finished The Wrong Missy on Netflix. Silly but we enjoyed it.
Probably been posted but I haven't got time to go through 5739 posts.
Just watched Shawshank Redemption again tonight but this time with the kids.
Absolutely brilliant film which I'm sure most people, like myself, have seen before but definitely worth watching again. Brilliant film.

Bit of an oldie but we watched Shutter Island on Netflix last night. Whole family enjoyed it.
Trying to go through stuff on Netflix or Prime that we have seen before or for a long time to keep ourselves sane.

Mile 22 on Netflix, another Wahlberg film from the Berg director - Lone survivor, Deep Water Horizon etc
Watched 1917. Fantastic cinematography, more plot holes than a swiss cheese.
The Mechanism. After watching a number of ho hum movies., a friend suggested I watch this Brazilian police series.
You know that "something special" good movies have . This one has it in spades. Two seasons.

Green Book. Very good movie.
After reading the book some time ago, I finally got around to re-watching The Right Stuff last night.
Good film, which is true to the parts of the book it covers, but there's a lot it doesn't.
Enjoyable re-watch though.
I watched this some years ago, while laid up with a broken knee - I think it's a hugely underrated film, but it's not all action, which I think a lot of people expect.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
We liked In Order of Disappearance on Amazon Prime. Norwegian dad taking on the gang who killed his son, igniting a gang war. It’s a weird balance of being serious and funny, but it works a lot better than that sounds.
