Wow.....what a couple..very nice indeed...but now we need decent pics!!!
Well, today is an double incoming. I couldn't help myself. Having said that I have been mulling over both of these for many months. These pics are quick 'n dirty and I'll take some more prettier ones over the next few days. These are the unveiling, and having discovered that both watches are literally BNIB - and wrapped up good 'n tight, I will be taking my time to unwrap them properly in daylight. Today I'm in a hurry so stickers/plastic staying on.
UPDATE - THE GP PICTURES ARE HERE viewtopic.php?f=1&t=224340 AND THE ZENITH ONES ARE HERE viewtopic.php?f=1&t=224445
Girard Perregaux Sea Hawk 1000m - fully sealed plastic. Never been touched out of the factory.
Zenith New Vintage 1969 in rose gold - shrink wrapped (this is going to be quite a moment when I unwrap it properly - never had a gold watch before)
Wow.....what a couple..very nice indeed...but now we need decent pics!!!
How long are you going to leave them wrapped? Never understood this thing about unwrapping them. Its just cheap plastic, off with it and into the garbage bin!
Beautiful watches by the way, when can we see them? :)
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.

How the F can you be sooooo restrained?

Wanted - Damasko DC57
They look good to me but please get some photos without plastic so we can be sure! :D I don't know how you've done, the plastic always comes off straight sway for me!
Liking the Zenith, congrats.
I'm sure its a marvellous thing and I await it's full glory.Originally Posted by ASW1

The Zenith, oh my, oh my! Can understand wanting to savour the unwrapping.....enjoy!
Liking that Sea Hawk!
Had to do a google search for both of these - you must have been awake all night with excitement!
The GP looks a big beast, but a good looking big beast 8)
The Zenith looks beautiful. Can't say I've paid much attention to gold watches lately, but that looks stunning.
Looking forward to seeing some plastic free photos :D
Fabulous, absolutely fabulous!
You do realise we need to set up a rehab clinic to help others like us, don't you?!
It's just a matter of time...
I'm feelin' you on that one Scott :wink:Originally Posted by Omegamanic

I know, I know. But, the foil on the top of a coffee jar is just foil, but it's a moment to be savoured...... I'll only get to undress the watch once, and I wanna take my time over it. As for keeping plastic on, I would agree.Originally Posted by Raffe
Folks - I haven't had a chance to get back to the watches since the opening pics. I promise that proper plastic free images will be forthcoming - Thursday or Friday.
Nice watches I think......? waiting for some more pics
Loving the case of the Zenith already. Ditto on wanting more pics.
Best of the Zenith New Vintage 1969 series - and that series is the best thing Zenith did under Nataf. Nothing beats chocolate brown and rose gold, and limited to 250 pieces. Superb buy. Now get rid of the plastic.
Two absolute crackers! Looking forward to the full photos.
Christmas morning probably runs right through to Easter in your house.
cracking pair, but what a tease you are
That is a nice pairing, particularly the Zenith - they've really turned a corner over the last few years. Get the wrapping off so we can see it properly!
Really looking forward to seeing more of the Zenith!!!
Wowser.
Stop teasing!
love that zenith, the brushing on the case is just lovely
Looks very interesting - please do let us see the actual watches 8)
The pastic is now off both of them:Originally Posted by Henrik Gelardi
