Super pictures, and like Andy's, a lot closer to the water than mine has been :)

    Cool photos!

How do you enjoy the rubber strap? I have just fitted the ti end pieces and black velcro to mine.

Have you tried Natos or Zulus or even leather on this watch?

Nice watch and nice piccies. Thanks for sharing.

Last time I did something like that I got flamed for getting a watch close to sand, and for getting a 50m rated watch wet.............

Aaaah - the beaches of Denmark... I suspect IWC had something a bit more exotic in mind :D

    Great pictures :)

I have a bracelet for it but I prefer the rubber. Also it looks better than the bracelet. Isn't there a textile strap available?
I never got the velcro for mine, do you got pictures to share?

It's a classic and the only watch you will ever need. Just don't get it wet. :D

I would say these are the nicest Aquatimers ever made. I love the relief on the bezel.

Sure, I can get a few photos of the black velcro online later this week.

I really wanted the end pieces so I can use a grey nato strap over the summer. The velcro part is not very impressive at all with low quality materials and poor stitching. But it is worth it for the end pieces for sure!

I also agree with many of the comments. This is an amazing watch to me and still looks perfect at 18 years! Mine was new in 1994!!!

That's about as close to the sea as I would want to be with an IWC Aquatimer.... The last 2000m one I had leaked in the bath when it was only weeks old!

Since I've sold my Dornblüth this is now my oldest watch and also the one I wear the most. You're right about the stealth as no one ever comments on it which is just the way I prefer it. I'm thinking about getting the white dial SS one... or a Ingeniur 3227... or a AP 15300.... or a Sinn EZM3....
Good thing I don't have access to the sales corner yet
