Just noticed that they have just released more tickets to the Rolling Stones on the 29th if anyone is interested. They might have sold out again fast, but worth a look if you're interested. Ticketmaster of course.

Ben Folds Five in Brixton in early December. Speaking in Nottingham the next morning, so still tossing up whether to go and take the consequences or flog the tickets.

Wembley? I bought mine yesterday, by signing up for his website the day before. Hope he enjoys having my money for the best part of a year before the concert.

Peter Gabriel is bringing his 25th anniversary So tour to the UK next October. Tickets for that go on sale very soon.

    Tommy Emmanuel & Martin Taylor

One of the best fingerpickers performing with one of the best jazz guitarists - can't be bad!

Just saw Dawes last week. Fantastic, but it did take some suspension of disbelief to enjoy a Californian country rock act in the back room of a pub in Oxford. In November.

Steve Hackett at the Sage, Newcastle. His tour is almost a sell out.

    Shed Seven on Thursday.

A very underrated band from the 90's, they are meant to be good live as well.

Just got tickets for The End of The Road Festival, in September. Bit depressing really to be buying that far in advance. Not Xmas yet, and I'm looking forward to a festival celebrating the end of summer!

2 bands = 2 gigs. Don't think they'll be playing both at the same time. ;)
Frankly, James is a bit of a bonus. Had no plan whatsoever to see them and didnt even know they were going to play initially. I'll be there for echo, really.

Is that to see James & Echo? If you haven't seen Echo yet, I highly recommend that you go. They're very, very good live.

Yes , but having seen the bunnymen in mid 80s (85-86) which I quite enjoyed, even though I was mainly into Oi music at the time. Thinking of talking girlfriend in going with me as an excuse :)

Nice one! I saw the presale today, and was gutted when I realised I won't be in the country that week. Would have loved to go!

Don't know if it'll be the next gig as it is not until October, but just bought my Fleetwood Mac tickets. According to the posters though, no Christine McVie, which is a bit of a pisser.

Off to see Steve Diggle of the Buzzcocks on Saturday. Always puts in a good performance, so looking forward to seeing him again.

Taking my wife to Dublin next weekend to see Train at vicar street. Neither of us have ever been to Dublin or seen Train yet (despite being fans for 10 years plus) so very much looking forward to it.

Hopefully Kvelertak, Truckfighters and El Doom & The Born Electric in Southampton, March 5th. I'm hoping to talk to the guys in Kvelertak and see if I can get a photo pass, and spend the night behind a camera, but we'll see.

Me too, the last time I saw them was at Stafford Bingley Hall in June 1980 - the tour that became the 'Fleetwood Mac - Live' double album.

My Bloody Valentine in Manchester on 10th March, then Bob Mould in Leeds on 17 May. Mould is one of my musical heroes for his Husker Du work, can't wait!

Fleetwood Mac on 1st October in Manchester. I splurged for a Meet and Greet with Mick Fleetwood with a front row seat.

Peter Gabriel on 25th October in Manchester. Once again I got a front row seat through the fan club pre-order.

Tried to get last minute tickets for one of the last two SE dates (yesterday and today) for Australian Pink Floyd through a friend who knows one of the guitarists. Unsuccessful this year though. Seen them the past couple of years. They are superb....and I'm not even a fan of live bands or concerts.

    The Courteeners in Sheffield
    James in Manchester
    The Specials in Manchester.

I think that will be it this year. I love The Stone Roses but missed out on the tickets and id have prefered to have seen them in an arena rather than outdoor.
