#296 doesn't show me a watch..?
A very rare Rolex Submariner given to the director of Mossad is up for auction.

NB:
In the interest of having a balanced watch collection it would be nice to also own a rare Palestinian Rolex
but sadly they were sold years ago to buy clean drinking water and baby food.

I'm no Sean Parker on the computer but I can find it easy enough......
Is it the SUBMARINER CUSTOMIZED BY MILITARIZED DLC (lot 127) ?
C'mon guys !!!! It's the director of Mossad's watch you are going to have to work a lot harder to find it. It may be undercover as an Omega :)
Cheers

Don't forget a few bombs, suicide vests and Qassams as well :wink:Originally Posted by farmkid

And as you say, just "balancing it up". :D -
Yet another priceless post.
It is the legendary Isser Harel's 5512 submariner.
Link is to the wrong auction - it is 296 of the 13 May 2012 auction not the 27 March 2011 one!
Sorry, I decided to bid on the watch so posted the wrong link by mistake......
Given you think kim kardashian is classy i understand that you are a moron with the intelligence of a gerbil with learning difficulties but how about keeping the politics for the BP?
I look forward to hearing about your concern there for the people of sudan, syria, china, bahrain, azebaijan, burma to name but a very few. Or is it only when there are jews on the other side of a conflict that you are interested in human rights?
Kim Kardashian classy? er...I don't think so, one can assume you lack the intelligence to spot irony.
Im sure your casual anti semitism is likewise ironic.
If the watch doesn't have a laser / video camera / car remote control built in then I'm not interested. Perhaps the Bond movies have given me unrealistic expectations of spy watches.
(BTW - I do have a view on the politics involved. But I doubt this forum is the place for it.)
I wouldn't mind having that at all. Politics and watches ?? Mix if you please - I don't...
Direct link here - I'm assuming that the final price shown is a typo and should presumably read either 24,500 CHF or 28,500 CHF, right?Originally Posted by Nugget

Farmkid thanks for the watch info in watch talk however please keep your politics for the BP  you strike me as a moron whoose parentage echoes your name.
I FEEL LIKE I'M DIAGONALLY PARKED IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
It's ironic being called a moron by someone who can't even spell 'whoose' correctly.Originally Posted by mart broad

Take it to the bear pit you moron, not only have you posted on something that has long since gone and your references to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict are extremely biased and inflammatory.
If some of these struggling countries/societies spent less on weapons and luxuries for themselves and more on basic aid, food, infrastructure then the ordinary members of society would not be struggling so much.
Away you go, into the Bear Pit there's a good lad.
Quietly despairing at the lack of awareness that allows you to post those first two sentences in the same post, but heartily agree with your third.Originally Posted by burnside

Apologies it was a knee jerk reaction, lack of sleep and up far too early to cycle in to work.
Just can't be doing with one sided politics is all, anyway, onwards and upwards i have a strong black coffee now so shall stop being a grumpy/stroppy git.
Still on the hunt for a DC66 :)

Ben
More hearty agreements from me for this, too! Keep up the search, the DC66 is worth it!Originally Posted by burnside
