The worst thing about that clip is it stops before the offer was made! :?
I know Rolex like turning out the odd hideous monstrosity to their customers in sunnier climates, but what a waste of money, it’s really not nice.

The guy offered him £300k and he said no

Yes it is, but from what I understand it is the model number that is rare.
It's just a matter of time...

I'd never heard of the program, a bloke at work asked me if i had seen it, as i'm into watches. does anyone know if the watch was ever sold and how much?
This is his website...have a look at the goodies for sale

All I can think is that sometimes there is a reason things are rare.
For example it is rare for someone to gouge their own eyes out, or to marry a goat as some examples.

Quite the awful looking watch, and it came across like he was more interested in promoting himself and his business than selling the watch.
That watch is so rare that we've needed at least three threads to discuss its uniqueness

Intresting that it said Rolex sell two thousand watches a day
TBH..... I go more off rolex by the day :?
Common as muck it would seem.
He wants £500k for it. Trouble is, that if the only people that like it are the guy that owns it and the guy it was made for...it's not worth anything at all.
The rarest Rolly is the 1942, 4113 Split-Second. They were never offered for sale, only presented and only 12 made. Price wise, it makes the Sultan's watch cry, and not a rock to be seen.

I've bought two 'normal-priced' watches from Tom Bolt (who's the son of the playwright Robert Bolt and the actress Sarah Miles, by the way) and he was very easy to deal with. Unusually, I haven't sold either and, indeed, have one of them on my wrist now.
Over the years, I've looked at his website regularly and he's had some very good watches at good prices, several of which I really regret not buying when I could. Most of his stock now is very high-end.
