0-0 I reckon, have a feeling could be a very dull game after all the hype, although I guess that result will suit Fergie more than Mancini!

can't stand united... gooooo on the blues :bom: 3.1 me thinks
Don't know who will win, but i hope it is city as i too can't stand utd.
Hope it's another thumping and really, the players have a huge chance here to go down in history and do something massive. Lets hope Mancini can get his players well up for it and they give utd a thrashing and go on to win the title.
its got 0-0 written all over it, red nose cant afford to loose this game so i think it will be shades of Barca away 2008 where he leaves one uptop and packs the midfeild and could even play 5 at the back again
As a City fan, I hope it's a repeat of the Old Trafford score though I don't see that happening.
Only a win is good enough for City so I very much doubt it will be 0-0. Only problem is it's my anniversary and am out for a meal so will miss most of it......... doh!!!!
It's just been announced that Andre Mariner is to referee tonights Manchester Derby.
Strange decision by Alex Ferguson to rest Howard Web for such a big game...
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
I'll be there. Trying to do anything at the mo just to take my mind off it.
Think the difference between the teams is Taggart. Stretford have over performed in my mind, and it must be down to him. Just hope Mancini gets our guys going.
After all the hype, it's only our second hardest game left.

United will park the bus as a draw suits them just fine. 0-0 or 1-1.

Rooney up front on his own shouldn't be much of a threat though (they are talking about a 5 man midfield). If we can break early we should be in with a shout of a 2-0 or a 2-1.
While they may have one of the best squads in the prem, Uniteds defence is pretty woeful at times. So long as we can get the ball to Aguero, there might be some magic!
Still no word on Tevez or Ballotelli, but one or both will almost certainly make an appearance, meaning some real aggression up front. Tevez might be on the outs with most of the fans at the moment but he'll play his bollocks off against United! :D
I'm afraid we don't have the midfield to be able to do this. Bloody hell sides have been waltzing through us lately.Originally Posted by 5freddys

Can't see any United team 'parking the bus'.
I reckon it's going to be 2 or 3 clear goal win for City. I'll go for 3-1. Tevez to score two.
I hope Ashley Young gets sent off for diving and Man City thrash them (again).

Lots of nervous people in Manchester today. Normally there d be plenty of banter flying around but it s strangely quiet.
Looking forward to tonight, been offered silly money for my tickets but I m holding on to them.
Never write off Stretford Rovers but City should have far too much for them tonight.
Look out for an early sending off, probably when Ashley Young goes down in the handshake ceremony. :)

Very true, most dont seem to want to talk about it, unlike Sky Sports News!!

I'm a United fan and am very nervous, we got in to a position above city which really we shouldn't have and then I can see us throwing it away again
Tevez to score to prove a point and Scholes to be sent off, probably for an attempt at tackling Tevez.
Although I would love City to win I can see Utd coming away with 3 points. Very rarely in crunch PL games do Utd not win.
I'm sure the game will be conducted in a gentlemanly and sportsman like manner by all participants :)
I go for 2-1 to City.
I hope they win tonight and go on to take the title, but I've got a feeling they may drop a couple of points against Newcastle to pass the Prem back to Utd.
2-1 United, City to take the lead, don;t support either btw
Ugly scenes outside the Etihad Stadium. Lescott and Tevez have just arrived.
Come on you reds!

Personally I cannot stand either team, however I will be rooting for City (this night only) on the basis that it might give SAF a heart attack, if not then I will enjoy |SAF's post match interview (assuming he has not gone off in a huff), where he explains it his players did well but that the referee was biased. No doubt he will then mention that City has to much money and that is bad for the game.
God a really hate football these days.

I think utd will niche it tonight 1-0 or2-1. Better if utd win this time sick of city fans already ha( no I am not a utd fan )
as a neutral i hope city win, however utd will probably win as they usually handle the big games better

Man city to win.
Though as a betting man, unitedook massive at 11-4
No bet but come on blues!
Tevez 3, Baliotelli 3, Rooney 0.
rejoicing in Manchester, devastation in London.
until Next Sunday when Newcastle stuff City 4-0 and Utd Thrash Swansea, And it's all as you were.
 1-0 to city half time....
City are playing better by far tbh...
But that tevez dood is a fugly fooker
City are truly tenacious
Rooney starting to get frustrated and stroppy. :D
Hasn't been booked all season  but what chances a red card tonight. Let's hope.
'Sir' Alex Ferguson proving just why he was knighted.
MU doesn't really show that they want to win.
The Mancs are loosing and yet again 5 minutes of extra time.
I don't know why refs don't just carry on until united win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get In!
I can unclench now

90 + 9!
Crazy....
Manchester is blue.
Well deserved win, congratulations to all ManCs out there.
On my way back, well deserved, brilliant atmosphere and the right result.
Stretcord Rangers timewasting in the first 20 minutes, way to go Slur Alex
Poor old Taggart
Muuurrrrddderrrrrr...
Hahahahahahaha
Well deserved by city and decent watch... Only downside Niall Quinn.... I thought commentators were supposed to be impartial or at least try to be!! Awful.
Was stuck in the restaurant at Celtic Manor, managed to seek out to screen in foyer just before City scored, made an arse of myself shouting "Yes" as I walked back to my table with a huge grin on my face!
Let's hope they don't mess up at Newcastle now.
Evening Burnsey :D :D :D
He was just slightly biased wasn't he :-)
Cheers

Pretty clean game, before the game I thought it would get spiteful.
