The daily wearer - lovely new Glycine Combat 7

I have to admit that the wait for my Dornbluth has not scratched my itch and I've been feeling the need for a more low key daily wearer than anything else in my collection. So, when this little beauty came up on a local dealers web site this week, I caved in and flexed the plastic.

I think it's ace, especially the matt finish on the case. Really different.

    What do you think folks?

It's only an ETA 2824-2, but it looks nice, ja? :)

This one should keep me happy for a while, besides the funds need conserving for Dirk's finest :P

My kind of watch. Looks great on the brown strap too. Congrats :P

An honest-to-goodness and nicely unassuming watch. I've looked at them, but they were a few millimetres too large for me.

That's really nice. The strap finishes it off perfectly.

I love everything about that except the embossed strap.

Nice. I love clean, legible dials. That dial reminds me a bit of the Stowa Partitio, especially with those minute partitions.

Well, no worries Dec, it was an extremely reasonable 585 euros
I had to move fast, another week and would have been gone.
The dealer also has an Incursore III for 695....

There's a Combat Sub coming soon too, but I've not seen any other Combat 7's with the matt case finish.
I just love it to bits. 8)

Very clean watch and perfect for the purpose you set out.

I have a slight bugbear about watches which showcase a movement that is a lot smaller than the case though.

That's a lovely simple dial, I don't think it will date. I would love to get one similar as a daily wearer but it would get wrecked/lost up a cow's backside. I just couldn't do that to anything other than my wave ceptor.

    Well wear!

    Well wear!
By dragging up old posts you can shoot yourself in the foot.

He won't wear it well because he passed away recently.

    Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
