Thread: Did I win the lottery?

    Did I win the lottery?

I think I heard somebody say if my Seiko SKX007 was accurate to less than 5 seconds a day, I'd won the lottery.

Well I've had mine on my wrist for a week, and it's gained 3 seconds.

Huh, yeah, tell us about the accuracy in five years' time.

    Did I win the lottery?

I have a Seiko BM that consistently gains 5 seconds per day, which isn't bad for an auto that cost me £109 :-)

WTF? Just suggesting that it's highly unlikely to remain as accurate over a reasonable period of service. Is this controversial?

It's not as if I'm hugely bothered about accuracey. If I was, I'd wear my quartz.

I just thought that was unusually good.

It probably just means it'll run slow when it settles in or something.
