Will give it a look.
Just to let you chaps know that The Watch magazine blog has become an iPad magazine which you can download from the appstore or view on your PC - both at no cost - here: http://app.thewatchmagazine.com/
I hope you enjoy it, and would be grateful for any feedback for issue two.
Have great weekends!
Andrew
Will give it a look.
Will check tonight ... Thanks for the heads up !
me to .
thanks
Thanks for the heads-up on this. Have just downloaded it (the issue itself is c. 100 MB), and, while I haven't engaged with the text yet a cursory glance looks like this will make great reading.
Many thanks for the heads up

Thanks for the link. Some good light reading there. Quite novel to read something and then not have a thread of arguments after it 8)
I just read the piece on IWC, and was amused by their description of their shock testing. It was explained that they subject the watch to 264,000 shocks of up to 500G - "25 times the force of a military ejector seat" ... :) 8)

Thanks for the tip off, will download later. :)
Looka like a good read, thanks for the heads up.
I enjoyed it, not so sure about the celebs saying which watch they are paid to tell me they like?!
Ooo, you're courting an argument there.... Bre...no, I dare not mention the name. ;-)Originally Posted by Tokyo Tokei

Cool. I'll pay more attention. I enjoyed the Pan Am and RW Smith articles. There's lots there. A couple of the guys had it on their iphones at work.
There are some interesting conflicts coming up in the watch world in the near future which might give you reason to report. Check out the bottom half of the article below ...

Thanks, I appreciate it! We're hoping it's more accessible in amongst a lot of magazines already out there that are quite a lot more in-depth. We've already got a list a mile long of things to improve for issue 2, so anything we can add to it, or at least confirm, would be very helpful.
That's an interesting article - the comparison with the snuff-box was particularly intriguing.
I like the buy/sell/hold feature at the end.
Overall very well produced.
