    Courier?

    Hi all,

Anyone know a decent courier that won`t cost an arm AND a leg to take a bulky delivery in the UK?

    Cheers

UPS are the only one around here I've never had trouble with, but they're the most expensive too.

    How bulky?

Collectplus will carry up to 10kg for £6.99 and is ideal if you have a local 'open all hours' shop as one of their acceptance points - details here http://www.collectplus.co.uk/faqs#faq1

Have you used this service before? I was interested in it as it is convenient (I can't get packages picked up from work).

    Re: Courier?

Yes, I have used it a couple of times.

It really is simple - book it online, print the label, stick it on the parcel and take it to shop. Plus you get a tracking number, that starts the minute you book it, and both times I have used it, the package was there in three days. I have a third package in transit with them at the moment.

    Re: Courier?

Thanks for that. Packages between 5kg and 10kg are pretty expensive to send if you need tracking via the post office - first class signed for is about the same price as getting a proper courier.
I will give them a go next time
