Ugly. But a bargain
Another "grandfather" watch
Never worn but passed down by grandfather  - you would think he would want to keep hold of such a family heirloom...
Was going through eBay last night looking for watches... as you do, and I reckon I spotted at least a dozen fakes in the first twenty pages of my saved search!
Bloody ridiculous.
I have e-mailed eBay about the ones I'm sure of but it never seems to make the slightest difference.
His Grandfather probably found it down a drain
Jesus Christ!

Thanks. Wouldn't know. Guess someone in the market for a Rolex would do some homework. Shame though that people try.
He has good feedback but usually sells iPhone parts.

Maybe Rolex are market-testing their prototypes now through Ebay? Revolutionary new strategy!Originally Posted by swanbourne

That is hilarious, do you think he is genuinely sitting at home "spending" the 11k he plans to make - should cover his next trip to Turkey to see his "grandad" ?
It is almost tempting to buy it, have it proved as false as he wouldn't have a chance, get the 11k back & leave him minus the eBay/paypal fees.

I'm only just getting into Rolex as a brand and have already seen quite a few suspect watches on the bay. There is a sub in there are the moment with an exhibition back.....!
That can be legit. These case backs exists aftermarket so the rest of the watch can be real.
Everyone who's has an eBay account offer him 1 English pounds
That is a pile of poo. It now has 4 offers and I've reported it aswell.
This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.

It's a bit unfair to say that this isn't like anything Rolex have ever produced, it's clearly from the future (and so hasn't yet been released) and brought back in a time machine. 2013?
"A man of little significance"
Yes, sorry. The year display clearly shows 2013, so this watch is far ahead of us.Originally Posted by Foxy100

Suppose the bigger idiot is the one who declined the 255 quid bid...Originally Posted by golfg60

Isn't the tachymeter going the wrong way around the dial?
Interesting chronograph set-up . . . seems to have only the chrono second hand, with no minutes or hours. So capacity of this very useful chrono will be 60 seconds.
