Beautiful in all (vintage) variations and those look impeccable.
Wish I'd tried to source one a long time ago, guess the nice ones are very hard & expensive to find these days.
Thought I'd share a couple of Monaco dial pics
I'm fortunate to have both of these beauties in my possession at the moment
It's often said that a Monacos value and desirability is in the condition of the dial
The detail in the dials is stunning but they're prone to damage due to a seal melt issue and are often seen with damaged edges
Makes it all the more special when you get good ones
Here's a 1133b cal12 picked up this morning fresh from a service

Beautiful Thomas, condition looks almost nos, well done.
:)
What a pair of beauties Thomas enjoy!
Nice Monaco's indeed. Great condition dials as well
Tentative sales post! :bounce:
The term 'Grail' is often over used. Great stuff Tom. You really must give one to me. You can keep the other one :drunken:

First I thought, that gray dial is really elegant & understated & I'd have that one :D
Then I thought, That blue dial with contrasting hands is just uber cool in a McQueen stylie 8)
Both fantastic. love em
Both lovely. I like the simplicity of the dial with two sub dials and the colour of the grey dial.
"A man of little significance"
Amazing couple of legendary pieces, hard to say which is better, i would like to keep both of them :)
They have that certain something that everlasting design has, but we find hard to define and harder to replicate

Lovely watches I love the grey dial.
Bloody lovely pair.
Stunning Monaco's.
Beautiful watches! You are a lucky man. I'd love to have the blue one!
Can't make my mind up which i prefer - both nice though 8)
I've always been tempted by Monacos!
They are lovely

It's great to see these beauties outside their cases, with the dials fully exposed.
It's also good to remember the "worst case scenario" . . . the dreaded melted black gasket. Shown below -- in the case, after opening, and what was left of the blue paint after careful cleaning.

 Not good!
What a pity! If only people would have known in the past...
