    Omega Jedi & Anakin watches

Why are these two so hard to track down?
Proper 'Jedi's' are seriously thin on the ground, while the Seamaster 176.005 automatic chronograph (almost the same watch) can still be had for £1000 or so. Personally I can hardly see the difference between them...
Is someone hoarding all the Jedi's??

And while the Anakin isn't the most attractive watch in the world, I'd sell a kidney for the black metal 'Darth Vader' edition. Again, I haven't seen one for sale in years! :(

Can any of our resident Omega collectors shed any light?

I know they were intended for overseas markets (far east?), but a few years ago the market seemed flooded with them. Maybe it just seemed that way because I couldn't afford one!

I had a "proper" Jedi, and loved it - if anything, it was a bit too nice to wear, though.

Have a look at these - a matching pair of Anakin and Darth Vader Skywalkers.

Not my photo, but had to pinch it!

The standard doesn't do much for me, but that black case Vader is just incredible.

Might even make this my screensaver!

I reccon Tom Dick is the man to speak to about these, if he hasn't got one he'll know a man.

Many of these (and just about any HTF vintage watch) change hands off the forums in private sales. Saw this on on a visit to NYC. I believe it now lives in the UK.

    1. Fredrik, with watches like that you should have no problem reaching the required post count!
    2. Make sure Stefan knows when you're selling

    Thanks Nalu!

Don't know who Stefan is but a lot of other people with other names has contacted me about the watch. I guess it's like you say, deals like this are mostly done in private.

    Cheers
