try avforums.com for used ones, £30 is not bad though and you may struggle to beat that. Can you not threaten to leave them and they usually give in then and give you a new one?
Mine has just packed in. Where can I get a cheap replacement as the f@%$£ers want to charge me £30 for a new one?

As I'm sure you've checked really good routers are over the £100 mark. They're faster with more features.
What's the deal with BT? Any better/worse? Just about had ebough of Sky TBH

BT have put fibre optic in around where I live, and a pal who was getting 1.5mbps is now getting 35. As soon as my contract with Orange is up I'm off to BT as well. You can also get online via their hotspots when out and about (about 2.5 million IIRC) on whatever device you have to hand.
F.T.F.A.
I got a new one by ringing them and giving it the "I need to cancel because I'm too poor (tight) to afford the £25, as it was then.
They love the DD coming through and sent me out a new one fairly swiftish.
I was met with an abrupt 'I will pass that on for you'
No doubt it'll be a different story when I phone to cancel but enough is enough
Will investigate the options elsewhere I think

The standard call centre op doesn't give a stuff about customer exits unless they are implicated directly.Originally Posted by Scottishtrunkmonkey

My sister was given six months Sky subscription for free though her circumstances were genuine. They took the order to cancel and contacted a day or two later with the free six month prop.
Thinking about it now, too much shite for a £30 saving.
Sky are also annoying in that they hide the account and password information you need for your router to get onto the network (it's not just your normal sky ID), there are some tools out there that can decipher what it is from the MAC address but it's a pain.
