An i pad 2 can help my back?
Just treated myself to an iPad 2 today after biting my lip for months
Can anyone recommend a decent skin thingy for the rear so I can throw it around the coffee table without worrying about scratches?
Cheers!

I got an all in one case thing by SwitchEasy .. Covers front and back and acts as a stand.
I recommend them :)
I have this one to go with the smart cover...

Got the smart cover from Amazon for £11 quid too, so that's less than £20 for both :D
I'm after something very thin so as not to take away from the slim size, otherwise I may have kept my old one :D
I got a Yoobao 'iSmart' leather case (from eBay). The leather is good quality, it's a good fit, pretty slim and the front cover works the same as an Apple smart cover with the three folds and magnets.
I was a bit dubious about getting it, but I have now had it for several months and it has performed very well.

They have released some new variations that look better than the one I have. I have no experience of them, but the 'iSlim' model looks good.

Incipio smart feather.
I got a super skin for the back of mine, I wanted to keep the iPad slim so went for a smart cover plus back skin. The skin looked superb also, great quality with the Apple etc hence it looked like an actual Apple product

In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Do you really care about scratches! Why not just apply Vehicle Vynal to it? Or have a look at iPad Decals on eBay theres some quite funky designs on there, I have a Banksy Rat one that looks cool and protects with a microthin layer.
That said as long as it works who cares if it has a little squirl that you can remove with scotchbrite anyway

I dont care about the front, it's bullet proof, but I would like to have something very thin on the back just so I can slide it round in the kitchen etc and the Apple on the back not get covered in scratches, I'm pretty anal with my stuff
I have a 2 year old who uses it as much as I do so need some protection :drunken:
The vinyl does sound good, I'll have a look, cheers!
I've got one of these on the back of mine........

Worth every penny, just need to get their on-line store sorted so that they are easier to buy. Serch on google and the best place to buy usually is Tesco.
I do for the prime reason of resale! I protect my iPhones / iPads and then sell for close to original ££ come upgrade time!!Originally Posted by 100thmonkey
As soon as I picked up my Ipad 2 I also ordered a back case from ebay. Personnaly I went for the big blue chunky rubber type as the kids often play with it and sometimes it gets dropped. I only paid a few quid for it.
I am hoping that at upgrade time the Ipad should be in perfect condition still and easy to sell, unlike my iphone which has no case. It is scratched everywhere, front and back and the other day I dropped it again cracking the back case. :(
Mint iphone to lightly scratched iphone might make all of £30 difference, Id rather enjoy it in its design form than dress it in a rubber jacketOriginally Posted by kultschar

I went with the smart cover from Amazon for 11 quid. Top quality bit of kit and for once where Apple are concerned a bit of a bargain.

Looks good to me
I got a cheapo silicone from the bay and it does the job pretty well but doesn't look nice.
Not in my experience - I just got 500 quid for my iPad 2, exactly what I paid for it 7 months ago!!Originally Posted by 100thmonkey
