What does one do about the holes in the monster dial because of the loss of the original chapter ring? Need a closer picture I think.

unless you can get the original monster chapter in then you would have to live with the 4 holes.....however, there is a way to do this however it is tricky but you have to use (well it worked twice for me) imeans using a 6309 chapter ring on top of the monster one to hold it all in place....it shouldn't fit and to be honest it took me 5 or6 times on both occasions to get it all to sit right underneath the xtal.....a real pain in the arse to get right and it took me a good few different combinations to make it right but got there eventually....will sort out how to post a pic using my phone then will post pictures of both the mods i did :D

Nice work Mrteatime. So you did not sand the chapter ring thinner to allow for the monster chapter ring? Does it not push up the monster ring if you don't thin the 6309 ring?
