Postman has been and gone, but no RMSD for me, despite it showing on tracking as out for delivery
I've got an itchy arse-hole.

I'm too organised to think of anything random.
Just saw Christopher Biggins, Ian McShane and Patricia Hodge in Starbucks.
Somewhere pages and pages ago in this thread, I said me and my wife had been walking around our house deciding who has what when we split up.
Well yesterday my Decree Absolute came through.
The kettle's broken.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
I have bought a new kettle.
I was intrigued that my new kettle came with a book of instructions, in many tongues. Once I had found the English version I was surprised and dismayed to find that the kettle should only be used for boiling water.
I have now revised my plans for lunch. I was looking forward to having soup.

My packet of peanuts had the following allergy warning on it - warning: may contain nuts
I've just been into Argos.
They made me stand in a queue and wait for a number. It was like the Social Security, but with less people stood at the entrance smoking Richmond Kingsize.
Apple and cinnamon lemsip - awesome!
You might be surprised to learn that a peanut is actually not a nut, but a bean. So this warning actually makes sense, because if you are allergic to nuts (like me), you can still eat peanuts (unless they are contaminated by nuts).

I like Jack Johnson.
I just put a pic of Sergio Aguero on my Utd-loving girlfriend's new phone and saved it as the wallpaper. She can't remove it. Along with the result it made my day.
I shopped for soft furnishings today
I have watched literally 11-12 hours of cricket today.
Just read on the interweb, that Environment Canada is predicting that in the space of a week there will a 50, yes 50 deg change in temperature in Calgary.
Last Saturday the ambient temperature was -35C and this coming Saturday, it is predicted to be +15C
Yesterday lunchtime, as the weather was clement, I took my lunch and banjo to a quiet bench in the seafront and had a tootle on the banjo while munching my sandwich.
Bloke going past gave me 50p. 50-bloody-pence.
I'd have thought wearing 3 piece work suit might have identified me as not being a busker. Anyway, it was worth more like a pound. Tight-fisted git.
Just back from my endoscopy appointment.............yeah no banding.............boo injected instead The doctor on finishing mentioned she needed to wipe my bum, to which I replied, "I thought I still had a few decades more before I needed that done for me"
I'm debating whether or not to go to Whipsnade Zoo on Sunday.
coffee..... football........coffee.......can i use the coffee pod more than once??
No; it just comes out as hot water. At least mine do. Mine machine isn't one of the posh ones mind. Dolce Gusto. You can't even get a full mug. 240ml is the most they say they'll do for standard coffee.
Not only did I just order a new watch, but it's a pre-order.
Now to try and forget about it until it arrives. I love a surprise.

I've been regularly wearing a pair of Timberland boots since last October with no problems & today I've got a blister on my heel.
______
Jim.
I prevented a shower unit being smashed to pieces due to the wind earlier today.
Rivets: they are taking over my life of late.

I've just had a bloody great fir tree taken out of my garden today. It nearly blew over in the storm a couple of weeks ago. The roots lifted the ground, but thank god it didn't go over at the time. It would have done loads of damage if it had.
It's amazing how light my garden is now!
Just had my first Five Guys burger... in Dallas
:stuffed:
It's a little known fact that Äddi (pronounced Eddie) is goodbye in Lëtzebuergesch (dialect spoken in Luxembourg).
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
I'm staying in a cottage in Devon with my parents for the weekend. So far, it's not as bad as it sounds.
Gentlemen, my time here is done.
“Touch dry in one hour”?
In the middle of the Kalahari desert, perhaps. :-(
