I used to have a knife collection. Then, puberty out of the way, i stopped admiring Rambo, grew up and started sleeping with women. Winning formula!
Then the b*stards started paying me too much and i got into watches!!!!!

Compact Flux Capacitor Ray Gun :P
Gray
I do not remember that gun from "Back to the Future"
I think it escaped from your steampunk collection instead
The B&M is simply a great looking watch, as always.
I was offered one very cheap, back when the watch was not in demand.
This was just before, the Capeland became wildly popular and prices skyrocketed.
I will never fathom, why the B&M was not instantly in demand (wrong time, worng marketing??)
Still kicking myself for not buying it in NIB condition, as it was offered to me for half of what it is going for now.
The dial is out of this world.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
You can do better, ralphy - try it out, you might actually have an opinion of your own

I found his comment funny enough: no need to try and better it at all, I'd say.Originally Posted by WatchScout

Evidently.
Just found it a bit vacuous  You are usually not shy of forming a semi-coherent statement

Good to see that BigTel still has some knives left
Just two folders at the moment Watch Scout, but always on the look out for that next favourite special one
Down to two only, huh! At least they are both quality folders.
I went the other way and got a Randall.
Never meant to buy one at those prices (also I have been "cutting" down), but was offered a very good deal by a collector.
Plus I circumvented the six years of waiting for a factory knife, which was also a consideration
Oh yes, that's where flux capacitor came from, I knew I'd heard it somewhere :lol:Originally Posted by WatchScout
The first B&M I looked at in a AD was, I think, £2400 or thereabouts, but it didn't grab me then.
Like you I was offered one at rock bottom - I think about £600 - but took it

And as far as I remember, your B&M Capeland is in very good condition too.
You have the full set with the funky strap and all?

Now that is a quality blade, congrats on a good choice, I must admit to being a bit partial to the Randall model 15 Airman and also the Model 14 Attack.
Some gr8 stuff here, keep on posting and don't listen to these hemp-sandal wearing longhaired hippies. Here's mine:
Locked and loaded with two extra clips (cos' you never know), and also my "Furore" Applepeel-Fairlypointy fixed blade.
Thanks.Originally Posted by BigTel
Yes they are nice blades, but pricy!
Airman and Attack are both splendid choices IMO.
JSAR, Randall and EK
Excellent contribution, even beats mine :DOriginally Posted by horrovac

the smiths watch i find light, comfortable and reliable :)
when i travel i carry a small pocket knife
this is a UKPK expensive but the quality shines through when you handle/use it.
Nice bushy
Spydies are smooooth and that one is UK legal judging from the name or what?
Of course you can not go wrong with a Smiths
Intresting thread, some cool stuff on here.
I did not have any Pictures so I could join in, so after carving the kids pumpkins I tried to set up quick shot of something, with out the wife and kids noticing what I was up to.
A bit rushed but did not turn out to bad.
:)
Ouch, like a punch to the gut, that Lemania!
Beautiful and with loads of history to it too.
I have admired those for some time now.
Nice SOG too - which is it?

yes the spyderco is UK legal once you have tried one you will see what all the fuss is about. :D
I had a few spydies, but sold them all.
They are very nice and very much sought after.
They must sell them by the shedloads.
Thank's.Originally Posted by WatchScout
The SOG is a Tomcat version 1,I think the first folding knife that Sog did, I bought it new in the early 90's it was expensive but I wanted the best knife I could afford for work at the time and had just sold my first car so had cash burning a hole in my pocket.
I stopped carrying it for work a very long time ago and it's function was replaced by a leatherman wave, which did not attact attension when working like the sog did, which was better.
The TomCat is a hefty good quality piece. It was the "silver" endpieces that threw me. Thought it had silver scales (which I have never seen a SOG with). IIRC the handles are a very nice sticky black rubber. I handled one and almost bought is years ago. It looks & feels so good.
I went the Leatherman tool route too, though I opted for the Juice. Sad, when hysterical PC makes it difficult to carry a proper pocket knife.
I had a Seamaster. One of those watches that go with everything; rides smoothly under the cuff of a dress shirt and wears just as well with more relaxed attire.Originally Posted by sn8k

Well made friction folder too. Really like that too. Now, I can see where you are situated, but the friction folders seems to be very much loved in the UK too, as they can be UK legal.
This is a tread where i can paticipate. I shoot a lot of pistol shooting in competitions here in Denmark.
These pictures are a little old, so i dont have these watches anymore, but the guns is stilll in the safe
Nice PAMs. I assume one is a 112. You can not go wrong with those.
Nice brace of handguns too.
You might want to blur the visible serial numbers on the guns though.
Good looking .357 Smith.
The Rugers are always nice. Indestructable.
I like the SPS 1911 clone - you shoot IPSC?
What is the other auto - some Italian job?

Thanks. Never seen that modern version before.
Looks huge, but of course very light weight as Ti.
The WWII sleeve daggers I have seen, were all very slender ...and not hollow.
yes i had couple of the normal versions Jesper, a crawford and a vintage one 8)
speaking of knives and such i know someone looking to sell a rare unused Ti emerson lagriffe if anyone's after one, i know they can be quite hard to find.
I like it and also the WWII ones.
Emerson - talk about quality!
I wanted a UBR Commander for the longest time, but as they can hardly be carried anywhere, I have so far withstood the temptation.
You or your friend should try selling the Emerson over on BB.
Emerson blades are usully very much in demand.
The LaGriffe is most excellent for opening those pesky TimeFactors packages BTW
Not much of a penis extension, but here's the Explorer with a Chris Reeves "Mnandi":

Full set apart from one of the booklets. I usually have it on the funky strap but fancied a change and have settled into the sailcloth.Originally Posted by WatchScout
