If he has enough posts to sell here.. He knows the SC rules.

If he knows you well enough to tell you about a watch he's selling here.. Then he knows you well enough to email pictures and sell it to you with no websites involved.

    I smell troll.

If you send Ģ5,000 to my PayPal account (as a gift, obviously) then I'll send you a watch to get you started.
    Hope that helps

Next time you speak to the guy that told you it was for sale here, just say "I'll take it" and I suspect you might be fine.

Welcome to TZ-UK. What a fantastic contribution you have made to the forum already. I really am looking forward to learning lots about watches from your doubtlessly fascinating future posts on all aspects of horology.

You will get there one day with some posts about watches etc.

As an introduction, please would you like to tell everyone a bit about yourself and what sort of watches you like etc  ?

This 'someone': didn't he explain about the fees you'd incur by buying the watch here?

Very naughty of him if he hadn't explained that to you.

Blimey, whats bad, him telling you or you not being able to buy..?
Seems like someones playing with you...

Re: too much for a newbee

Too much for a newbie.... too bad, thems the rules, like it or not.

How about joining in with the topics and banter, maybe the individual didn't want you to buy his watch which is why he didn't tell you about the 50 posts rule.

Hope you come out from under that bridge and get involved. :)
