    Welcome, beautiful pieces!

Could you post a couple of comments regarding Stowa Flieger, in relation to the IWC Mark? (finish work, weight, chonometre performance, quality)

    Thanks.

    Hi Welcome.

Indeed you Omega & IWC stand out for me.

I want one of discontinued GST Chonos but good pics of Mxvi like yours make me think. What size is it?

The mk xvi is 39mm. But feels slightly bigger, I'd say because of the smaller bezel

    Hi,

The finish and build on both pieces is superb. The crystal is slightly superior on the mk xvi (in my view anyway). The xvi has excellent anti-reflective coating on both sides. I know some people aren't fans of this, but I like it a lot and have found it gives the face slightly different shades of black/grey depending on the light. The polishing on the IWC case is also probably slightly more precise/finished (but that is just a different styling rather than being better quality per se) - it has some wonderful detailed contrasts between the polished and brushed steel surfaces.

Performance-wise, both excellent losing around 1-3 seconds a day, well within COSC.

Both are very similar weight - around 75g give or take.

Obviously the big advantage of the stowa over the mk xvi is price!

Hope that helps, drop me a pm if you want to know any more info.

    Paul
