    some new budget watches

Whats happened to me I have bought five watches since being active on the forum.

Got this new gray import Seiko 5 SNKE63 off ebay for $50. It has 20mm lugs so I got one of Eddies aviator straps which are great value for the price.
The watch has a highly polished case which does not show up in the pictures, I think it would look much better if it had a brushed or sandblasted finish but not being able to take the watch apart myself I think it would be too expensive to get the case done.

Waitnig for this Benrus I got for $50

A good purchase, and some interesting watches in your expanding collection!

Firstly, don't panic. This is normal for people joining the forum. Sit down, have a nice cup of tea and remember - shiny, shiny make it all better ;)

Secondly, that Seiko looks lovely. I know what you mean about changing the polished parts to matte to match the strap better but that would change the character of the watch. Enjoy it as it is a give yourself a pat on the back

Thirdly, I believe the SC isn't empty yet. You know what you must do... Duty calls and all that...

The more I wear the Seiko the more I like it, got a 20mm tropical nato on the way for it as well.
I was lucky getting it cheap as there where four all ending on ebay about the same time which got all the bids and only one other person bid on that one.

Very nice, I don't think sandblasting is that expensive, although I could be wrong.
