Very nice :) I'm not usually keen on non-pointy hands, but it seems to work on this watch.
Enjoy!
I found a "little" gem in the back catalogue of the Steinhart portfolio and brought home this watch yesterday... :)

Doesn't look like 42mm on my wirst (8.5")
I like the rather flat case of the watch very much
got a buckle from Rios1931 on the Steinhart canvas strap... it doesn't strain the holes of the strap as much as the original OEM buckle.
Look at that dial!
...and two lumeshots!
Very nice :) I'm not usually keen on non-pointy hands, but it seems to work on this watch.
Enjoy!
Congratulations! Enjot it! :thumbright:
I've always admired the Steinhart Military black dial but the lack of any WR stopped me buying it.
I wash a lot of dishes and I'm bound to ruin it
Thanks you guys!
Well, dishwashing shouldn't be a problem with this watch (if you attach it to a waterproof strap that is!)
It seems it would be water resistant enough to withstand even swimming, but I wouldn't recommend it for diving or jumping into the pool from a turret. (which some people did with their B watches in the past, that's why Steinhart changed the rating from 3ATM to "limited water resistance" on the site... )
But still... always have your watch pressure tested at least once a year, before getting it in or under the water! :blackeye:
Nice example. Your right it plays much larger on your wrist. Looks good.
Very nice and good pics.
I love the white dial!
Looks great, lovely clean dial.
Clean :!:
Why would it be named ´Military´ as it has no 24H scale?
Doesn't look much like any of the military watches I own, but I rather like the look of it :)
Oh look there, they finally found some C3 Superluminova. Along with the pretty much non-existent water resistance, the fact that they were using C1 is what put me off their Flieger and Nav B Chrono.
That's quite a good looking watch, congratulations.
Really like that, would happily fit in my collection :) Enjoy..
Very nice really like the crown design and the understated dial, enjoy.
Thank you very much.
The design of the dial (at least of the black version) is based on a german soldiers watch out of WWII... apparently those didn't have the 24 hour markings.
The C3 is very strong, the watch starts to glow after just a little exposure to light. Nicely done!
I already commented on water resistance... but as I don't wear any of my watches (not even the divers!) in the water or for anything that involves water or dirt that's not a problem for me... :D
No soldier needs a 24 hour dial. I'm an old fart and have been out for years yet i still think in a 24 hour clock. Putting the additional numerals on just clutters the dial and is akin to using training wheels on a bike :shock:Originally Posted by Huertecilla
Forgot to mention that it's a very attractive watch. Clean and simple.
Looks good.. I think it would look even better on a Black Nato :)
Really nice watch that I'd never seen before. Those big white dials really do wear larger than their dimensions. Enjoy! 8)
Never seen this model before.
Very nice, and the pics really do it justice.
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Thank you guys!
New day - new strap...
Today I did put the brandnew 22/18 deployantstrap "Havanna Old Vintage" on the Military...
Nice strap! May I ask where you found it?
It's a brandnew Steinhart strap that will be available on the website soon... :wink:Originally Posted by beaser

Er... That's not a deployant, just a different type of buckle. I do not know how those are called.Originally Posted by H.Solo
Like mine but I do find it wears quite big. The strap is also fairly thick which adds to that overall impression. As already stated, - good lume.
That looks as if the numbers were lumed as well? Advantage black.Originally Posted by kfman

I just couldn't help myself... I had to have both!
I really like the black face! What is the overall length of the band on the watch. I have an 8.5 inch wrist.
