    Help me to choose

I've sold two watches I could use swimming and bought Omega Speedmaster I don't want to use swimming. Now I need watch for sporting activities - climbing, swimming etc. I have narrowed my search to two watches, both very different and I can't decide which one is better.

    Seiko 5

    possible 55 fathoms mod

    or Suunto Core

I have fairly small hands and I am afraid suunto will be like cathedral clock. But the functions are pretty amazing - depth meter (not that I dive, but still fun to use), barometer, altimeter, compass, second timezone, stopwatch.

Seiko from other hand is 41-42mm, wears very good. And of course FF mod is quite tempting.

Suunto if your sole purpose for this watch is to swim and possible other activities.
Seiko if you plan to wear it on casual occasions as well.

I'm a big fan of the FFF mod although I'm also very fond of Suunto but I think you'd find the Core a bit on the large side.

Any of the FFF mod's would get my vote.

I've got a Seiko SNZF55, and if it were a straight choice between that and the Suunto I'd have the Seiko every time.

BUT for sports & swimming I'd have a G-Shock. Both watches you've suggested will start to collect scratches as soon as you put them anywhere near rocks.

Having just received a FFF I would recommend them 100%. Excellent value for money.

The phrase "chalk and cheese" springs to mind, VERY different watches, but my vote would also be for the Seiko.
Don't rely on committee choices, go with whatever you like. (The Suunto is bog ugly though!!!! )
