Not often I like the original straps that come with watches but thats not half bad.
Cheap and cheerful, but I like my Seikos.. ordered yesterday and it'll be winging its way from the US in the next week or so, hopefully :)
Never had a NATO style strap before, so have already started thinking about leather, I quite like this one..

Nice, particularly with the leather strap. You may need to brush the buckle though to get a good visual match.
:D I had a blue one of those, the original strap is pretty good so I never took it off, but the watch is a lovely little thing.
its a nice military seiko.. Cheap/expensive...as long ur happy with it...n they say u'll always win with a seiko... 8)
Beautiful watch. The canvas straps are perfect on these. Maybe the best value BNIB mechanical watch.

Great watches and I had one a couple of years back form a seller on eBay in Singapore.
As usual can't remember why on earth I sold it when they look that good.
Very nice.
I like the colour of the dial and contemplated getting one of these a few years back, when I worked in the desert.
I far prefer it on the strap in the first pic.
I had one of these. Cracking little watch. For the money its great value.
And I really liked the strap:
Not normally the style of watch a I like but for some reason I think that looks brilliant.
Well, I'm hearing nothing bad about this so thanks for the feedback, chaps! Looking forward to picking it up..

I've got one of those, with black dial / black strap. I love the sandblasted case and the strap feels really substantial. Brilliant for the money.
Arrived today - yay!
Very happy with it - light and comfortable to wear, looks very smart - I do like the dull stainless, a change from polished. The second hand sweep is smooth and the display back shows off the movement nicely. All this for £85 delivered. Bargain, I think! :)

Never actually seen the detail on the "back" of the strap (pic above) on these... 8)
Cracking little watch. I imagine some fit soldier in desert camo whisking me away whilst he's wearing one of these.
All dusty like...
Anyway, enjoy your watch.
There's not much to see on the reverse.. the reinforcement is only on the front side. The strap looks pretty tough though, hopefully it'll last a while.Originally Posted by Tai Mi Shu
Can't help you with your dusty soldier request, but good luck with that.. :)

Sorry, I meant the "back when it's on the wrist. As in, the 12 O'clock side of the strap. I think.
I've come over all funny thinking of soldiers.

Indeed. Something like that in light tan would be just the job. I've found the nylon strap a bit sweaty today (OK, it's unusually hot for a British summer) and a nice bit of cow would have been more comfortable, I think..
As an aside, how easy is it to change the straps on these? There isn't any way of poking the pins out from the outside, from a brief examination it looks as though they can be pulled inwards from the lugs with a carefully used fingernail, but I haven't experimented too much in case the pin suddenly flies out across the living room.. :)

Here's my well used and abused version.
Leather strap and a light polishing to the case because it was in such a state.
Wonderful different in the colour.
I wish I would dare it ; -)

well I never that looks really nice.. can I ask what the price point is on this watch?
as i have said before I used to buy Sekio's as they represented good honest arm instruments.. in my youth. ( Long time ago you must understand ) LOL
Smart looking watch, the khaki face and band are very hard to find. Military green AKA, OD or bay sh*t green  is not my favourite colour.
The SNK803 has 18mm lugs which is the size that many of the rare regimental bands come in. After much searching the only accurate RAF/RCAF band I could find came in 18mm.
Nice simple watch 8)
Still liking the watch, but I have to say the nylon strap has been a bit sticky over the last few days (it hit 32 in my office.. yuck). I was out in town today, there is a watch stand on the market so I asked if they had a leather strap that would suit. The guy brought out a "beige" strap (I'd actually call it "cream") which was an almost direct colour match for the dial. So I handed over the cash (it was only 7 quid) but now I'm beginning to doubt myself.. it looks OK but now it doesn't look roughty-toughty military or dressy - dare I say it, more like a fashion watch.
Over to the committee.. win or fail?
