What did you thhink of the selection & prices in the onboard shop?
Whent on a cruise this weekend and did'ent knows which watch I schould bring
the MM would perfekt to sight-seeing in Oslo but wolden't quit do the trick at dinner on the boat.
So I had both with me on board and it worked great, and now I'm sure one watch alone will never work for me
have you haved the same problem :) :?:

I have a similar issue. I have a holiday coming up which includes a family wedding so I need a smart watch to wear on the wedding day but something casual and robust for the beach and day to day. I am thinking Omega SMP plus my G-Shock but I also need my running watch as I hope to fit a few runs in during the week. That's at least 3 I need (want) to take!
Always travel with 2 watches sometimes 3 if it's a long holiday. :D I try to tailor my watch choices to what or where I'll be going too. It's usually a g-shock, a smart casual and a diver.
As above
PRS-3 is my main holiday watch - on a nato.
The Italian comes along for dress occasions.
and a quartz beater for back-up.
The 2-slot travel case Eddie supplies is ideal
Dornbluth Gorck Fock 1. Might be hard to source by the weekend, though.
Panama Canal/Caribbean cruise earlier this year. I took PO 45.5mm on rubber with orange stitching/deployment and Seiko Tuna.
On board prices and prices on the islands (St. Maarten etc) too expensive.
Always 2. Something for the beach/water like a diver or a G-shock, then something nicer for the rest of the time.
last cruise we went on I took 4 watches and some extra straps for good measure :D
Cheers,
Ben

Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
OK selection but nothing really to save compare to DKOriginally Posted by volvos60s60

I can sympathise unfortunately. I always pack at least an extra watch regardless of the trip's duration.
$35 dollar Timex for the beach and seawater. Two nice watches back at the hotel in the safe for happy hour and evening.
Always 3, one on the wrist and a 2 watch travel case.
Really, you guys
Going away?
Pick watch to wear
Leave house 8)
Not too hard is it?!?!?
Well, it isn't if having previously spent a few hours debating which watch that would be, plus which one to pack for "back-up" and, if going away for "awhile", which one is the back-up's back-up!

Once you've decide which watches to take, you then have to decide on the straps - too warm for rubber, potential for swimming not good for leather. And then do you take the spring bar too? In hand luggage?
