    Thanks for all your good wishes. My mother died peacefully in her sleep at 0500 hrs this morning after a very short illness. She went into hospital on Friday suffering from general fatigue and shortage of breath and it was all downhill from there. She remained lucid and pain-free until she fell asleep yesterday evening and even managed to feed herself a tub of ice cream around 1900 hrs.

    She would have been 82 in September, so not a bad innings.

    RIP mum, love you.
