My only issue is my wife is pregnant, and due in 6 weeks, so may have to duck out at last minute for obvious reasons!!
Did well to be due in the close season with no World Cup or Euro on, so cant complain too much. :)

OK Guys - here's how it works.
Sunday June 26th 2011.
Venue chosen in Manchester City Centre; max. 5 mins walk from all central Manchester train stations and Metrolink. Will investigate parking but there are secure NCP parks within 2 mins walk and I believe on-street parking may be available f.o.c.
Their function room is already booked but they say that they are willing to reserve a corner of the main room. Sundays can be very quiet for them, or extremely busy, so it is a nice offer. The food has always been good on previous visits; also there is a selection of cask ales from a local brewer.
Food available; t'management ask that if possible we pre-order, so a menu will be winging its way soon for distribution.
Also, Watches of Switzerland (3 mins walk from venue) are considering allowing some sort of group visit, for which they would like to know numbers.
Watches of Switzerland 11 a.m.; venue 12 noon onwards.
My disinterested significant other will probably be in attendance and would appreciate like-minded company.
Please email me and I will send specific details. Obviously I am not going to reveal the venue on here for security reasons.
It may be worth mentioning that I am unavoidably absent for the week prior, so any questions would best be asked before Friday 17th June, or ask michalko82

Not thought about watch rules; probably best if we don't have any (rules that is, not watches). Unless anyone thinks different? I'm new to all this, so very receptive to well-meant advice. Or how about no selling but swapsies OK?
And in case anyone is wondering why Michalk02 started this off and then suddenly it's me - so am I.
I missed the last good one in Chorley - but I gather there were a few watches floating about, with a few temporary trades happening. Happy enough with that - I don't have that many that I'm attached to.

I will be very busy that day as we having a Model aircraft FUN FLY that day so I have to go to the flying field in the morning, then GTG and back to the flying field. BTW it's a public event so anybody who is interested is more than welcome- there will be a 10 ft. wingspan Spitfire, jet with real turbine etc. (it's in Hough End- so near the city centre)
Don't be daft. It was a most enjoyable event; my first one. Nice people, nice venue, nice watches. I learnt a lot.
