Personally, for me it totally depends on the watch and the woman. It can look as stupid as footballers with their oversized blingy crap or they can look classy, sporty, sophisticated, anything really.
Just wondered what members thought? The pics I've seen of women wearing men's watches have all looked great. However most of these women happen to be models or film stars so would still look gorgeous in a bin bag.

I agree, especially after seeing a Graham display yesterday in Chester.
Woman with a PAM on...yes please!
This has been talked to death but I give a strong unless it's a small men's watch and a big woman. Too big watch looks bad and way too big watch looks ridiculous.
Tumbs up from me, I don't know about copyright rules so I won't add the photo but if you haven't see it before follow this link to a great photo of a great Gal wearing a great watch .......

Mrs Stoner was wearing a Spring Drive at the last MotoGp when hubby was in the winners enclosure. Looked suspiciously like this one.

My wife used to wear my old Orange PO (42mm) on a black nato a lot and it looked fab. She's very careful with her things though, so I'm happy for her to rifle through my watch box.
Her father bought me a GMT2c for a wedding present a few years back and I'm sure she's worn it more than I have (still only a handful of times). Looks seriously lovely on her, especially when she's dressed up to go out.
Funnily enough when she wears one of my watches she always gets positive comments on it, whereas I hardly ever do!
My wife loves my Sub

The number of people recommending the Explorer I's and Airkings as a suitable ladies watches aren't doing us blokes any favours.
And as for this fella .......[attachment=0:xn2x2v3f]gok-wan.jpg[/attachment:xn2x2v3f]
I never thought I'd enjoy a picture of a gold watch so much! :P

Relative to wrist size and not gender in my book.
“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
I used to get the train into central London and regularly saw a very petite (and very attractive!) woman at the station wearing a white faced 40mm Panerai and thought it looked great!
I also think the original 36mm Explorer 1 looks great on women, still trying to convince my wife to get one!
My Air King is permanently on the wife's wrist at the moment. Looks good to be honest.

My wife wears a pam 90 on black croc deployment and she is 5ft and skinny. To be honest it looks the nuts on her despite me wanting it for myself
My wife has taken command of my ExpII white dial, it looks cool I (we) think and at least she can read the time / see the date as opposed to her previous 'dainty' watches.
I think its ridiculous. I mean! The oven has a clock! :)
Yes, yes , yes .... if it's a nice steel watch, worn loose and she's got nice wrists .... then yes - very classy.
It's as paradoxical as a good looking gal wearing combats and boots :D come to think of it, combats boots and large watch on bony wrist ... mmmm don't tell the Mrs!
We have one wrapped up for the GF's birthday :) I think they, along with subs and Daytonas are great sizes for women.Originally Posted by warns74
Wrist size is important though my wife only wears a women's size Seamaster as anything much bigger would look out of place on such a petite wrist.
It's just a matter of time...
One of the many things that made Celia look so lovely at yesterday's NWGTG was her Seamaster Pro midsize.
What do you mean we said men's watch?
I'm with you on that one totally - I believe she also wears a PVD'd Milgauss GV which was gifted to her by her boyfriend at the time John Mayer (lucky sod).Originally Posted by BrianR

My wife has taken posession of my Rolex Explorer 1 and I must confess it looks Überkool on her wrist. It is just pure elegance....
my wife used to wear my SD looked much better on her IMO
I'm not at all sexist but even my girlfriend agrees when I disagree with women in mens' watches :blackeye:Originally Posted by mylofitz

Is there not enough choice in the world of ladies watches, and therefore are manufacturers missing a trick? I know Omega announced an all-white full size planet ocean at Basel and I was shocked that a guy on this forum wanted it
To me, this looks like a man-size womens watch :| so is there more like this to come?
4" more than I'm used to...* :wink:Originally Posted by Tai Mi Shu

One had a nice Pepsi GMT and another a Yachtmaster.........which looks a bit girlie to me anyway.

My wife wears an explorer 1, a speedie reduced 37mm and the 36mm Tudor Sub, she is a size 10 and quite petite with small wrists but none of them look too big for her, i see more an more women wearing what were traditionally mens sizes years ago (34-37mm), vintage oysters and DJ's etc and of course men have moved up to an average of plus 40mm i would say
I have seen a few 40mm subs on ladies wrists and i didnt look quite right to me but hey good luck to them
