Thank you, I'll try and find some pics of what it looked like when I bought it, and then a few that the restoration firm sent me as they were working on her.

Just found two old pics of Midgets I had in the early 80s......
I used to rally this Imp, which - despite the registration - was a 1963 model. It was tuned to the limit; 410 cam, knife-edge crank, 1040cc, double-wedge machined-from-blank head, electric water pump, sintered clutch, Tran-X dog box. Unfortunately it was just too peaky, getting of the line was a nightmare (it wouldn't take full throttle below 5000rpm...), plus the gearbox broke regularly, despite a strengthened casing, a billet machined muff coupling and the strongest gearset available for Imp use..
I decided to build it into a lighter body, so I put this together (Clan Crusader). It was previously a friend's road car - he had once spun it on a roundabout and overtaken someone backwards off the exit road! It was slightly more reliable (not much, though) and when I was offered the ex Greenergy Citroen ZX at a bargain price I sold it..

If that SAAB V4 is a K Plater then I might just be a previous owner :D . If so its great to see the old girl again.
