    New car

It's a generation 2 Boxster, 6 speed manual, with 19's, heated seats, ventilated seats, top tint, partial leather, mats, full climate, blue roof, universal audio connection, crested wheel centres, park assist and sports exhaust trim.

Only done 9000 miles and is immaculate, over the moon with it.

    Great colour.

Guess all you want now is some fine weather and an excuse to put the hood down?

Is it a hard ride with such low profile tyres or does the suspension suck it up?

    Re: New car

Considering it's running on 19's, the ride is very good.

Been looking at one of these on my mother's behalf, she has an Alfa Spider on contract hire which is soon to go back and looking to buy something for around £18k. How much room is there in the front and rear boots?

    Re: New car

I have to say I was shocked as to how much room there is in both boots.

The front one is not massive but it is quite deep.

The rear one is very usable.

Very nice wheel, colour combination. I saw the Boxster Spyder the other day which made my jaw drop!! The generation two styling mods are a great refresh too.

    Re: New car

Saw a white Boxster Spyder (are they all white?) on the M56 last week, looked a bit ridiculous with the roof up, he was doing about 80 and there was a lot of billowing. Can see the appeal in California or the Riviera but not near Runcorn!

Very nice - have been thinking of swapping my vx220 for one of these for a while. Is it the S model?

I'm a 911 fan and I'm afraid that this is not a Porsche as it is not rear engined and it is not air cooled. Or so many of my fellow classic 911 owners will say!

I am only joking the boxster is a lovely car and once my kids fly the nest the Cayman will v v likely replace my 911, not a boxster as I'm not keen on rag tops. Having said that a 993 targa in good nick is a lovely car if getting dated now.

Lovely car - perfect colour IMHO.

BTW I'm looking to protect a set of alloys from brake-dust pitting, corrosion etc - is getting the wheels sealed something I would need to do at a specialist? And is it worthwhile / costly?
