One from me...
Really think that I did some of the best investments in my life. A extender for my 50mm 1.8d lens. I had to raise my mortgage for the $9 investment but it was worth it.
Hope you enjoy the pics! Some are a bit unsharp in some areas. Had to lower the diafragma because of the low light. Just made them with a Nikon D70S with SB400 flash

Maybe not quite as macro as some of the other excellent examples here, but it's the best I can currently achieve.

Really spectacular pics there chaps.
Been considering a macro lens for a while, but not sure what I'd photograph other than my watches...
You know you've got a good macro lens when you can "shorten" the depth of field for a watch photo.

You dont need a €1500 camera to make nice pics. The 50mm feels cheap but the glasswork is fenomenal
NICE, Seamus! Perfect motivation for me to save for a Macro set-up.
Who needs any other subject but watches for macro photography? But I suspect that you guys could probably take a macro of a pencil and make it look fascinating.
Thanks for the info on the Swatch, Tommie, as well as your equipment.
