Another DN day for me, though for about two minutes I had a platinum Lange 1 Worldtimer on...and virtually, I'm wearing the M32. :D

Weeeeeellllll,
For me today, it's one of these:
Superb watch!
Oh, and it works just fine at around 25m deep!

A bit different for me today. A black (anodized or PVD) Seiko 7a38 (same case as RAF Seiko Type I), with black dial with gold batons, on matching black bracelet with gold accents. Actually bought it a few years ago, but just got the bracelet from ebay. No pictures of it yet.
Thought some would appreciate this video too.

That occured to me as well, but it's not much use when you're trying to up-load new photos... :cry:Originally Posted by Crusader

This today.
Started the day with PRS-53 on brown aviator (first time trying the combo, and I really like it). Zeno Army Diver arrived back from getting mended this morning, so switched to that on a black sharkskin from Don Ginsler. I'll probably switch between the two all day as I'm working from home.

Paul - Dig the watch. Beautiful example, by the way.
Discovered them (and the Longines CAF) right after I had my financial "mishap" - of which I am still
suffering, so I must wait. But it's on my list in of the top 5 watches I must get - maybe. Certainly it's
in the top 10.

btw. Gert, I really like that Airman :)
Have a nice weekend all.

Today I am wearing the Numa Jeannin Chrono altough it still needs some servicing as it is not running as it should.
I'm sending the one on the far right (170mm) to a watch maker to have some lugs fitted so I can fit a strap.
From L to R:
PRS-1, Quad 10, Azimuth Bombardier, Klick R/C
Today I am mostly wearing my PRS 14 on a scabby, old, but comfortable (Issued...........years ago) NATO. The Precista really is a cracking watch.
Out to you
James
It always looks a little cardbord-like after waxing, but then I don't get the usual "why did you let an Orangutan wear your watch?"Originally Posted by pmc2112

Way to go, lurch! That Bombardier is too small and girlie anyway :wink:Originally Posted by lurch

Nice one Sanjay
This for me still.

Gert,
Close-up of PRS-1 and Quad 10 as requested.
Sorry if they're a bit dark, best I could do with what I had.
Let me know if you want me to mail the full (2Mb) image to you.
Ta-ta!

Have a nice weekend all :D

I took this with me on a trip to New Zealand last month, and am still wearing it since returning earlier this week.
My wife's Samurai also survived remarkably unscathed : 8)
Have a top weekend, all.
Jim :)
A Grey day today..........
Have a great weekend all. :)
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Thanks. To my eye, the Quad really looks more like the old JLCs than the IWCs(?) Handsome watches, both :DOriginally Posted by lurch

I am still undecided whether to start 'investing' in some of these old CAFs ...Originally Posted by Mike K

Try some of the better cigars from the Dominican Republic. They have a slightly different flavour, a bit deeper, without the high sweet note the good Cubans have. Cubans are a bit better for after dinner cigars, just because of the sweetness, but the DR ones are better middle of the day ones.

Still this one :D
Wish you all a great weekend

What do you think about Nicaraguan and Honduran cigars? I think they are close to the Cubans as far as robustness goes, and much of the tobacco is produced in a valley which is claimed to have similar soil and climate to the Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba. :?:Originally Posted by rfrazier
I don't smoke very often. Currently my body is fighting off some quietly manifesting infection, as my left side jaw lymph node is enlarged and sore. :( Sucks too, since my wife's cousin (recent Northern Irish emigre) and her Policeman/ex-U.S. Marine husband are coming down this weekend from the Boston area and I hear that he smokes cigars. Perhaps I will have one with some brandy since I have more than a few of these Montes littering the humidors. 8) :)
