A rush to catch the Sunset this afternoon

    Hello Gents,

At 15:45 I spotted a gorgeous sunset from my lounge window, grabbed my DP1s, my tripod and my Daughter, had a very long two mile drive to the beach, parked, ran across the Beach Green, lept over the fence and ran across the pebbles towards the rocks only to see the sun disappear below the horizon.

Anyway, not a totaly wasted journey, it was however bloody freezing.

    Hello Gents,

    Thanks for the nice comments.

Me and my daughter managed to thaw out in front of the log burner when we got back.

May try the South Downs at Sunset tommorow, will see what the fixed 28mm lense on the DP1s will make of that.

    All the best
