strap for retro chinese?

Hi!

Just picked this up from "Gunscrossed", its a remake of a 1956 peace watch by Shanghai watch company. Needs a new strap and am looking for ideas. Think it suits a sort of retro Chairman Mao minimalist look so think I might go for one of Eddie's Khaki fabric straps but am open to ideas.........

I would go for a simple plain black thin leather one myself.

Mine's on dark green fabric.



A dark NATO would do just as well.
