Danger Mouse
He Man
Battle of the Planets
Grange Hill
Okay, something got me to thinking and wondering what my fave children's tv show of all time is....but i can't decide.
Grange Hill early 80s was great, Home (I think that was what it was called about a chuldren's home remarkably) or Chocky!
What is yours?
Danger Mouse

Ralph Waldo Emerson: We ask for long life, but 'tis deep life, or noble moments that signify. Let the measure of time be spiritual, not mechanical.
This is simple! As im 34 and a child of the eighties, my favorite tv shows from when I was a kid are:
Highway to heaven.
CHiPs
The littlest hobo
The Waltons.
:D
(Land of the giants was pretty cool too!)
I used to love this one.
I could have posted a colour picture but we only had a B&W TV then.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Ive got loads:
High Chapparal

I also like some of the surreal stuff my little lad watches - have any of you seen Chowder or Flapjack?
Wow - time tunnel - I used to love that too!
I am now thinking science fiction - twilight zone, lost in space, space family robinson etc
A few of mine:
Mask
Transformers
Godzilla (and Godzuki :D )
T-Bag
Cockleshell Bay
Bagpuss
Mosschops
Thundercats
The Moomins
Fraggle Rock

Mark
Knight Rider
Airwolf
CHiPS
Ulysees
Dogtanion and the Muskerhounds
Around the World in 80 days
Gamesmaster
Paddles Up
Kickstart
to name but a few
Sad fact on these is that I think I can remember nearly all of the theme tunes virtually word for word. There was a post the other day about useless stuff people can do. I think my (most) useless feature is my ability to remember just about all the cartoon and kid's show theme tunes and lyrics.Originally Posted by Sharky
I used to love Speedbuggy (think Scooby Doo with a beach buggy instead of a great dane), I managed to get a DVD of the series and it's total crap!
TBH, I think that some of the new kids programs are great, Spongebob Squarepants is my current favourite..
Mysterious Cities of Gold
Dungeons & Dragons

Some more:
Worzel gummidge
Batman
Double deckers
Peppa Pig. I don't have a choice as I've got a 3 year old who's obsessed with it.
Hi,
depends upon how many years you cover I suppose. As I was born in '62, so you might reasonably expect the following:
Supercar
Stingray
Thunderbirds
Star Trek
Lost In Space
Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea
Dr Who
Captain Scarlet
Blue Peter
Joe 90
UFO
Starfleet
Land of The Giants
TimeSlip
Magpie
Somewhat later:
Swapshop
Tiswas
Space 1999
After all these years; still watching Dr Who, Thunderbirds and Star Trek with my kids (plus Blue Peter when they were younger). :D Have probably left quite a few things out. Memory not what it was...
Did anyone mention Rentaghost?
I can go back further than most of you.
Torchy (the battery boy)
Twizzle
Four Feather Falls
The Woodentops
Rag, Tag & Bobtail
Andy Pandy
Muffin the Mule (it was legal then)
Bill & Ben (they could talk the talk)
Tales of the Riverbank
Life was so much simpler then.
