I think that IANAN is the man you need to contact. Worth a PM?
Morning,
I know there are quite a few pen enthusiasts on here and I was after some advice on the following Mont Blanc & Dupont pens :)
The paperwork with the pen’s doesn’t specify the model. I’ve been looking on the internet and the closest match I can find is;
Mont Blanc Classique Black (Mine’s Blue) Black & Gold Plated Trim Ball Pen RRP £230.00
S.t.Dupont Olympio Medium Ball Point Pen Black Lacquer RRP £170.00
Pictures of mine:
Neither is in mint condition as they’ve been sitting in a container with other pens, no dinks or major scratches, just signs of use/light surface marks and on the Dupont there’s discolouration to the silver parts. Both were bought in 2000 as presents for my 30th, but have seen little use and I’m going to list them on the SC once I get my facts straight.
What would be a fair price based on age and condition and have I got the correct model’s?
Cheers
Aaron :)

I can't see the pics at work but unfortunately, modern pens (unless a limited edition or rare, and not always...) are like modern cars, half their price as soon as they leave the shop and then, take a pound off for each scratch...as nice as they might be, neither modern Dupont or Montblancs hold their value very well... :(
Thankyou Andyjay :) I've contacted IanOriginally Posted by andyjay
While I'm waiting for a reply, any ther enthusiasts out there with advice? :)

Thanks for the replies gents - Does anyone have an idea on what a fair price would be based on age and condition?
Cheers :)
It is one of the Generation range.Originally Posted by jonny
They were phased out about 6 years ago and whilst quite a basic model they very much hark back to some of the early classic Montblanc designs. I have a couple and they are fantastic writers and very dependable. I will have a think about prices and drop you a PM (and about the Dupont).
