That is indeed a superb combo 8)
Well, imho. I think I found *my* perfect combination now. I don't know where this funny nato (Bond wannabe) came from, but I think it looks the mutts nuts on the 29B!
I'm not as think as you drunk I am.

"I looked with pity not untinged with scorn upon these trivial-minded passers-by"
That looks good but I feel strange wearing stripey straps in public. I still haven't found the definitive strap for my 29B but I am in no hurry. For its official duties it always wears a one-piece braided and on its days off, whatever comes to hand. I have now found a pig-skin strap supplier but they taper from 20mm to 16mm … I think 2mm taper was normal for those days, but I find it “too weak” for today.
One good thing about nylon (braided or otherwise) is that you can use a 20x20 … where if you use a 20x20 leather strap it will overwhelm the watch.
I will probably settle on some 20x18 leather when I decide on the colour. Brown, dark brown, black. And then there’s also the stitching … I just don’t know.

Costume jewellery. Ouch!!!
the watch certainly looks good mike, however when i saw the thread title i thought that you and bricktop might be getting married  :D :D
Shouldn't the topic-title be: Watch made in heaven
Looks very cool, do prefer single colour Nato's though :)
Looks excellent Mike, I have that style of nato's on my PRS3 and CWC and I think they look excellent
Cheers

I think you can get away with a parallel 20mm is it's quite a long strap - it stretches out the whole watch a little.Originally Posted by abraxas
Great photos, there's something about the Bond strap that's very eye-catching. I always get more comments on my watches when they're on Bond natos.
ja herr dreiundseibzig das ist definitiv die mutts muttern
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Yes, very nice combo indeed.
I would say that is perfect :D

Looks great with the Nato-strap. Gives it a very military look.
has anyone tried this watch on a leather nato?
if so I'd love to see a pic
Love my 29b on Nato, but don't have it on Bond. I should definitely get one!
Yep...that works! I'm wearing a "real" James Bond zulu on my PRS-3.
that is indeed a perfect match....
